Mark first picked up a snooker cue at just 11 years old and quickly developed a strong competitive streak, entering open competitions and testing his skills against high-standard adult players. When he discovered pool at his local pub, his enthusiasm only grew — eventually leading him to captain the pub’s pool team.
After a break of more than 20 years, Mark returned to the game with renewed passion. Once again captaining his local team in a highly competitive league (featuring several Wales internationals), his commitment to cue sports was stronger than ever.
